City of Lawrenceville Recycling Day

The city will offer recycling and shred your papers for you this weekend.

 

Do you have piles of old documents sitting in your office? Empty paint cans in your garage? A cell phone you upgraded just thrown in a drawer. Well, the City of Lawrenceville will help you discard of them safely this Saturday.

The city is hosting a Recycling Day Saturday, May 5th from 9am until 1pm in the old police station parking lot at 20 S. Clayton St.

They will be accepting the following:

  • Up to five boxes of documents you wish to be shredded. You will be able to watch them shredded on the site. Volunteers will be available to help you unload if necessary.
  • Electronic devices such as cell phones, computers, keyboards, etc. for free. Televisions will be accepted for a $10 charge. Projection TVs and Console TVs will not be accepted. 
  • Paint cans at $2 per one gallon can 
  • Tires at $5 per tire           
  • Metal and old appliances will also be accepted

The event is open to residents and non-residents.
