Do you have piles of old documents sitting in your office? Empty paint cans in your garage? A cell phone you upgraded just thrown in a drawer. Well, the City of Lawrenceville will help you discard of them safely this Saturday.
The city is hosting a Recycling Day Saturday, May 5th from 9am until 1pm in the old police station parking lot at 20 S. Clayton St.
They will be accepting the following:
- Up to five boxes of documents you wish to be shredded. You will be able to watch them shredded on the site. Volunteers will be available to help you unload if necessary.
- Electronic devices such as cell phones, computers, keyboards, etc. for free. Televisions will be accepted for a $10 charge. Projection TVs and Console TVs will not be accepted.
- Paint cans at $2 per one gallon can
- Tires at $5 per tire
- Metal and old appliances will also be accepted
The event is open to residents and non-residents.
