City of Lawrenceville Hiring Several Marketing Positions

The city is currently hiring for a Marketing & Public Relations Manager, a Downtown Development Coordinator and an Events Coordinator.

The City of Lawrenceville is seeking to fill three newly created positions with the Lawrenceville Tourism and Trade Association.

They are:

  • Marketing & Public Relations Manager
  • Downtown Development Coordinator
  • Events Coordinator

The positions were approved at the June City Council Meeting on Monday, June 3 as part of the agreement between the city and the LTTA.

The Marketing & Public Relations Manager position will pay between $50,000 and $58,000. Responsibilities for the person in this position include overseeing the strategic and collaborative marketing initiatives for the City of Lawrenceville. They will oversee the Downtown Development Coordinator and Event Coordinator. Responsibilities include writing and editing press releases and copy, monitoring marketing trends and more.

The salary for the Downtown Development Coordinator is in the low- to mid- $40,000s. The person in this position will work to revitalize and redevelop downtown Lawrenceville and foster growth. They will create a partnership with the businesses in the city. This position reports to the Marketing & Public Relations Manager.

The Event Coordinator will also report to the Marketing & Public Relations Manager. The person in this position will be responsible for planning, organizing and administering events to promote tourism opportunities, trade and the quality of life. They will also be in charge of raising funds for those events.
