Woman Runs Off Naked After Crashing Car

The woman told Gwinnett police her clothes "just fell off" after a hit and run accident in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Officers thought they were on their way to a typical one-car accident Wednesday afternoon in Lawrenceville, Ga. It turned out to be anything but-- even before they even arrived to the scene.

On their way to the crash, Gwinnett County Police spotted a 39-year-old woman they identified as running completely naked at around 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of Sugarloaf Parkway and Old Norcross Rd.

According to police, an officer stopped Holt. She told him her clothes "just fell off" and she was running home to her apartment about a mile down the road.

Holt had reportedly crashed her 2002 Pontiac Grand Am into a sign at a subdivision at the intersection of Sugarloaf and Isham Drive. She told officers she does not know why she lost control of her car, which ended up in someone's yard.

Witnesses told the officers after crashing her car, Holt got out, stripped down and started running down the street towards Old Norcross Rd.Β

Officers took Holt back to the scene of the accident so she could put her clothes back on, which were on the ground near her car.

Holt was arrested and charged with failure to maintain lane, duty upon striking a fixed object and disorderly conduct for appearing nude in public.
