Woman Identified in Fatal Cruse Rd Crash
The accident happened Tuesday morning in unincorporated Lawrenceville, not far from the woman's home.
The woman killed in a Tuesday morning car accident in unincorporated Lawrenceville has been identified.
Gwinnett County Police say 55 year old Abeda Aslam of Lawrenceville was killed in the crash on Cruse Road at Avalon Forest Drive. The accident happened just about a mile from Aslam's home on Binghampton Lane.
According to the police report, Aslam was at a stop sign and failed to yield as she turned left on to Cruse Road. Her Mitsubishi Eclipse was struck in the driver's side door by an oncoming Mistubishi Montero.
Aslam was declared dead on the scene. The driver of the Montero and two children riding in the SUV were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
