Firefighters responded to a report from a neighbor of a house fire at the above location.  The caller to 9-1-1 reported flames coming from the roof.

Crews found the one-story wood frame house on a slab fully involved on arrival.  Firefighters were not able to immediately enter the structure due to heavy fire involvement throughout the house and partial collapse of the roof.

Fire crews deployed attack hoses to control the fire from outside the burning structure and protect neighboring houses.  The blaze burned the roof off over much of the house and caused heavy fire damage to the structure.

The home is a total loss.  The exact cause of the fire is currently undetermined and is under investigation by the fire department.

According to a neighbor, no one has lived in the house for several months.  There were a few household furnishings found inside, but it is unconfirmed whether anyone actually lived in the home.  All searches of the structure by firefighters proved negative and no injuries were reported.
