Two Women, Toddler Injured in House Fire

The fire broke out Sunday evening on Coalville Drive in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Two women and a toddler suffered injuries after a fire broke out at a home on the 500 block of Coalville drive in Lawrenceville Sunday night.

Gwinnett County Fire crews were called to the home shortly after 5:30pm. When firefighters arrived, they found fire in the garage of the home. They worked quickly and were able to contain most of the fire damage to the garage. There was some smoke damage to the main part of the house.Β

Investigators determined the fire was accidental and caused by a grease fire on a stove in the garage.

The two women suffered minor to moderate burns to their arms as well as possible inhalation burns. The child was treated for smoke inhalation. All three were taken to for treatment.
