Triple Murder Suspect Arrested in Kentucky

James Lanier, a third suspect in February's triple homicide in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Ga. was arrested Tuesday.

 

A third man wanted in the in unincorporated Lawrenceville has been arrested in Kentucky. Maysville Online reports James H. Lanier, 33, was arrested there late Tuesday evening. 

Officer T.C. Rice of the Maysville Police Department told the website that the contacted them to let them know Lanier could be in the area. The suspect is from Georgia but reportedly has a girlfriend who lives in Maysville, Ky.

Lanier was indicted last week as the third man in a drug deal gone wrong. of Lawrenceville, and Theron Green of Auburn were also indicted on counts of murder, felony, aggravated assault and weapons and drug charges.

Farris Allen, 41, of Lawrenceville, James Edward Isac, 64, of Richmond, VA, and Brian Lamont White, 36, also of Richmond, VA were shot and killed in a home on Cannonball Ct. in February.

One day after the murders, Gwinnett County Police brought Rashad Cornelius Johnson, 31, of Richmond, VA, and Raheem Richardson, 40, also of North Chesterfield, VA. from North Carolina, where they were arrested, for questioning. The two men were arrested and charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Lanier will be arraigned on extradition charges.
