UPDATE: Third Suspect in Lawrenceville Bank Robbery in Custody

Marcus Rashed Rutledge was wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a Wells Fargo in Lawrenceville, Ga. in December.

UPDATE Wed 9:55am - The Gwinnett County Sheriff's website has update Rutledge's entry. He has been charged with armed robbery and is being held without bond. His address is listed as 2800 Herrington Woods Ct, Apt. 4-201, Lawrenceville.

According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's website, the third suspect in an armed robbery at a Lawrenceville bank in December is now in their custody.

Marcus Rashed Rutledge was booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center at 5:15pm Tuesday.Β

Gwinnett County Police believe Rutledge was one of the gunmen who held up the Wells Fargo on Lawrenceville Highway on December 28th.

Police arrested Jamar Terrell of Lawrenceville shortly after the robbery. Terrell is believed to be the other gunman and the owner of the getaway car.

Last week, Thomas Birdsong turned himself in to police after seeing media coverage of the robbery. GCPD said Birdsong acted as a lookout and was supposed to be the original getaway driver.

No charges were listed for Rutledge at the time of publication.
