Suwanee Man Victim of Fatal Hit and Run in Lawrenceville

A 25 year old man was struck and killed on Sugarloaf Parkway late Tuesday evening, according to Gwinnett County Police Department. 

Investigators say Thiagos Campos of Suwanee was trying to cross Sugarloaf Parkway near highway 316 outside of a crosswalk when he was hit by a pickup truck. The driver was headed west toward 316 and did not stop after allegedly hitting Campos and left the scene.

Based on debris left at the scene, investigators believe the vehicle involved in the hit and run is a late model Dodge Ram with damage to the front passenger side. The color has not been determined and police do not have a description of the driver.
