Lawrenceville Police have identified the man they say killed a teen in a shooting that happened not too far from Phoenix High School.

Police say 21 year old Kevin Emanuel of Lawrenceville is the one who pulled the trigger and killed 19 year old Kevin Dawoyea Monday afternoon.

An altercation between two Phoenix students led to other non-students joining the fight. It is not yet clear if the suspects or victims were students at the high school.

Shots were fired at about 12:38pm on McConnell Drive. Dawoyea was hit in the chest. The teen was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center where he later died.

LPD has issued warrants for Emanuel. He is charged with aggravated assault and felony murder. Emanuel was last seen driving a 2008 silver Nissan Sentra with Georgia plates BZF1134. Police consider him to be armed and dangerous.

Police have also arrested 17 year old Isaiah Lo of Lawrenceville. Lo is charged with aggravated assault. He is currently being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
