8 came in contact with the drug during the raid in the Norcross area.

Gwinnett County SWAT team members came in contact with methamphetamine and required decontamination during a drug raid Thursday morning.

Several media outlets reported eight members of the team were affected. They were taken to a decontamination tent outside Gwinnett Medical Center.

The AJC, which called the incident a meth lab bust, reported the deputies were assisting the Dept. of Homeland Security in serving a warrant on Omaha Drive near Norcross. The deputies reportedly came in contact with meth when a suspect was taken into custody.
