Lawrenceville Woman Returns to Find Home Burglarized

Items missing from home break-in in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett County Police were called to a home on the 3000 block of Windwood Trail in Lawrenceville on Feb. 14 in response to a burglary.

 According to a police report a female victim stated that she had left her home at 11 a.m. and when she returned at 3:25 p.m. she found her garage door opened half way. The victim proceeded to open the garage door with the remote and noticed that the door to her house was also open. The victim then went around the house onto her rear deck, looked inside and saw that her refrigerator doors were opened and the lights were on. She returned to her vehicle and called the police.

Upon arrival police noted that the back door had been kicked in. No suspects were found inside the house and neighbors stated they did not see any suspicious activity.

The victim reported items taken from the home included a TV, laptop and jewelry. There are currently no suspects in this case.
