Gwinnett Police have released the identities of the people killed and injured late Wednesday (Aug. 28) in a truck-car collision in unincorporated Suwanee.

Ethan Ashline, 20, of Lawrenceville was the driver of a Chrysler PT Cruiser that collided with a truck on Satellite Boulevard near Shawnee Industrial Way, police said Thursday. Adrianna Romero, 25, of Norcross was the front-seat passenger in the PT Cruiser. Both died at the scene of the accident, which happened about 10:15 p.m.

Justin Kyall, 31, of Cumming was a passenger in the back seat of the PT cruiser, and was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The tractor-trailer driver was Eddie Scott, 50, of Lawrenceville. He was not injured and did not require medical attention.

Neither speed nor alcohol are believed to be contributing factors, police said. The investigation is continuing.

The tractor-trailer driver was traveling northbound on Satellite Boulevard, and the PT Cruiser driver was attempting to turn left from Shawnee Industrial Way onto Satellite Industrial Boulevard southbound, according to initial reports.

The PT Cruiser driver pulled into the path of the tractor-trailer, resulting in the collision, police said.
