Lawrenceville Man Arrested for Illegal Gambling

Truc Nguyen of Lawrenceville and a Roswell man were arrested for illegal gambling at a Norcross business.

say an illegal gambling operation was being run out of a billiards parlor in Norcross. 

An undercover officer went into Dai Nam Billiards and Cafe a dozen different times. Each time, that officer received cash for winning on electronic gambling machines. 

On Wednesday, July 11th, Gwinnett County Police arrested an employee at the business, 68 year old Truc "Luke" Nguyen of Laurelton Circle in Lawrenceville. They also arrested Dai Nam's owner 42 year old Khana Duong of Roswell.

Both Nguyen and Duong were charged with commercial gambling, keeping a gambling place and possession of a gambling device.

Investigators also collected more than $5,000 from the business.
