Lawrenceville Educator Accused of Sexual Assault

Police say the sexual assault took place at the suspect's home.

A paraprofessional educator has been arrested in connection with an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student.

Kari Lynn Bryan, of Lawrenceville, was arrested and charged with sexual assault on May 17, according to Gwinnett County jail records. She was released the same day on a $5,700 bond.

According to an AJC article, Bryan confessed to the committing the crimes while she worked at The Special Needs School of Gwinnett.
