Gwinnett Firefighters Battle Mobile Home Fire in Lawrenceville

Red Cross called to assist two adults displaced by fire.

The Gwinnett County Fire Department was notified by a passerby of a mobile home fire at the 100 block of Pine Valley Drive in Lawrenceville on Feb. 20 at 5:27 p.m.

Fire crews found a mobile home engulfed in flames and battled the blaze from outside the home due to the deteriorating conditions. According to a press release from the GCFD, firefighters operated multiple handlines to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.

The fire department deemed the home a total loss. There were no injuries reported at the scene, and the Red Cross was contacted to assist two adults who were displaced by the fire. The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
