GCPD Reports Drive-By Shooting on Herrington Rd
GCPD says a 22 year old male was shot on the property of the Wesley Herrington Apartments.
At about 7:15 Friday evening, Gwinnett County Police responded to a call of a drive-by shooting at the at 1400 Herrington Rd.
According to . Jake Smith, it appears the 22 year old victim was sitting inside his car when he was shot. It is unclear if he was shot multiple times, but the victim had several wounds related to the shooting. He was transported to the hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
Smith says the shooting occurred inside the gates of the gated community where the victim lived.

There is no indication that the suspect lived in the apartment complex. Police say the silver passenger car with two people inside drove off after the shooting.
