GCPD Investigating Murder/Suicide Attempt
Police found the body of an elderly woman in a Summerfield Way home.
are investigating what appears to be a murder/suicide attempt.
According to GCPD Cpl. Edwin Ritter, police were called to 2674 Summerfield Way in unincorporated Lawrenceville at around 4:30pm for a welfare check. Inside the home they found the body of a woman in her mid to late 60's was found inside a home at Police also found a man in his early 70's who was in need of immediate help. He was taken to where he was listed in critical condition.

The cause of death of the woman is not yet known. The identities of the two has not yet been released as police are still trying to notify next of kin.
