Fatal Accident Shuts Down I-85 North at I-985 Split
A motorcyclist reportedly was struck by a truck during rush hour.
I-85 North was entirely shut down at the I-985 split at around 5:45 Wednesday evening due to a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a truck. Gwinnett County Police. Cpl. Jake Smith said traffic is being diverted onto I-985 north.
"The deceased was operating a motorcycle when he was hit by a truck. There were no other injuries," Smith said in a release, adding no further information is available at this time.
