Elderly Woman Robbed, Sexually Assaulted; Police Looking for Suspects

Gwinnett County Police are releasing a sketch of a suspect wanted following an attack of a 79 year old Lawrenceville woman.

Gwinnett County Police need your help in identifying two men who they suspect robbed and sexually assaulted an elderly woman.

Police came to a home on Madison Chase Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at about 6:45p.m., responding to a call for a robbery. 

The 79-year-old woman living there told investigators two men forced their way into her house. One of them was holding a handgun. The two suspects forced the elderly woman into a back bedroom, held her down on the bed and reportedly sexually assaulted her.

The two then allegedly stole the woman's purse and ran out the house.

The victim was able to provide a description of the first suspect to a sketch artist. He is described as a light skinned black male, in his early 20's. He is about 5'10" tall with black hair cut in a low style. He has brown eyes and is clean shaven.
