DragonCon Co-Founder to Return to Gwinnett, Face Molestation Charges

Child molestation charges against Edward E. Kramer have been pending since 2000.

One of the founders of DragonCon is expected to return to Georgia to by Christmas to face child molestation charges.

Multiple charges against Edward E. Kramer of Brooklyn, N.Y. have been pending in Gwinnett County for 11 years. 

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kramer was first arrested on August 25, 2000 for allegedly sexually abusing three teenage boys. He did not stand trial however, due to severe spinal and respiratory issues that made him physically unable to stand trial.

In September of 2011, after police say he was found at a hotel room alone with a 14 year old boy. The arrest violated his bond conditions from Gwinnett. On Monday, Kramer lost an appeal to prevent his extradition to Georgia.
