Car Crashes Through Lawrenceville Home

Two people were injured after the car careened into the house off of Bethesda School Road in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Ga.

A car crashed into the back of a home on the 400 block of Sugar Gate Court in unincorporated Lawrenceville just before 7am Thursday.

The driver of the car carrying two adults and a child somehow veered off Bethesda School Road, jumped the curb, plowed through bushes and a fence before finally crashing into a home.

The car came through the French doors leading to the home's kitchen. The accident caused minor damage to the door jamb on both sides of the doors.

People were inside the home at the time, but they were not injured. Two adults in the car were taken to the hospital with back and neck pains. The child went home with relatives.

Power was turned off at the home as a precaution. The residents were not displaced.
