Gwinnett Fire investigators believe an apartment fire early Saturday morning, April 26, was deliberately set.
The fire at 502 Club Parkway near Norcross did not cause any injury, but two adults were displaced from an adjacent apartment. The fire occurred after 3 a.m. in a two-story wood-frame apartment building.
“Fire Investigators completed their cause determination survey and concluded that the fire was intentionally set with evidence of multiple areas of fire ignition,” Gwinnett Fire spokesman Lt. Colin Rhoden said in a media release.
There was fire damage to two rooms in the apartment where the fire started, Rhoden said. The renter of that apartment was not at the scene.
