One Bad Egg

Most every family has at least one child who is a bad egg.

What do you do when one of your children is not as or smart or wise as the rest of your children? Almost every family has at least one joker in the family who completely goes against the grain when it comes to success. For example, Rob Kardashian Rob is the prime example of children who have yet to catch up with the success and aspirations of his siblings. He is currently on Dancing With The Stars and making great leaps and bounds of being a star, but he has yet to make his own money or start a business as his older sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe.

Although many families are not as famous as the Kardashians, many families deal with the same issues of having a bad egg in the family.

In your family it may not be , but maybe it's going to or staying off drugs, or making the right decisions. But what can parents do for children who are off track with where they should be? Redirect them.

As long as they have ears to hear, you can continue to redirect your children. There is no need to throw in the towel all because one of the kids have missed the mark. Just like an adult who has decided on a huge career change the same thing can go for a child who is in need of change.

Parents who give up on their children only add fuel to the flame which can later add to their children never doing anything with their lives. So if you do have a child, regardless as to whether they are a minor or an adult, do your best to help them find a new route and a new way to achieve a life of stability and independence. If they fail, be there to help them stand back up again. You are a parent forever regardless as to how old your child is. So expect to teach, give advice and encourage them for the rest of your life.

How can you use Rob Kardashian as an Example of a BAD EGG? You are being mean. He is The only Brother in the family so I assume that he was raised as a little"Prince" and never had to do anything, Like take out the garbage; but Bad Egg? A Bad Egg to me is the kid in the family who brings shame to the rest of them. IE: Jail, abuse, Lies.. Rob Kardashian looks and acts like a Gentleman and I am sure he was taught well, by his Mom and Sisters. It had to be hard, growing up with all that Estrogen and a Step Father who has had more face surgery than Joan Rivers...Remember his Father Robert died many years ago. But was a good and intellegent man in his own right. I am sure he is doing the show, only to get his 'own name' out there, and in a few years we will hear of some sportswear line or cologne. There is no way he was given up on! ridiculous. Your article is so generalized. Not all kids that go to college are good. IE" Ted Bundy....I am sure he was not given up on. In fact his mother pleaded with the court to show her son Mercy. Now that is one bad egg.

My initial thought was that Rob is not a good example as well; however, I re-read that portion and I think Ms. Blackwell was pointing out a child who is not doing what the rest of the family is doing, or has accomplished what they have. In my opinion, the overdone Khardashian women need to take a break, or go away; I am sick of them. They are selling themselves (my opinion), and Bruce who looks like Jim Carrey in "Mask" is taking his has-been, broke butt along for the ride. Rob appears to be refreshing, he mentioned his insecurities earlier on the show (and I can appreciate and respect that). Now my second thought was, Rob doesn't need to make his own money or start a business. I'm being a bit sarcastic with that statement, which implies that he is wealthy and does not need to work. I don't follow the Khardashians' stuff, but perhaps Ron is doing something that makes him happy. RE not giving up on your children (specifically adults): after a while I say, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink."
