5 Things to Do with Your Extra Hour

Some ideas for ways to spend your extra time after falling back for the end of Daylight Saving Time.

Hopefully you remembered to set your clocks back an hour last night, or your iPhone or Blackberry automatically updated itself. If not, then you were probably nice and early for this morning or wondering why your favorite coffee shop wasn't open yet.

When we fell back, we gained an hour. Here are some things you can do to make the most of those extra 60 minutes:

1) Set your clocks to the right time and change the batteries in your smoke detectors. If you don't have any fresh batteries, run down to or and grab some extra 9Vs or AAs.

4) Keep up with the Kardashians, or whatever your favorite TV show may be. Many people's DVRs are filled almost to capacity. Now's the time to finally watch that missed episode of CSI or Modern Family. If you don't have a DVR, you can catch up with many of these shows online on the network's website or sites like Hulu.com.

5) Get cooking! Make a couple of meals for the week in under 60 minutes-- or 30 minutes or less if you're Rachael Ray. Try making Taco Stuffed Shells or Rachael's recipe for Meatloaf Muffins
