Health & Fitness

FIT for a Queen! Ms. Senior Georgia 2012 speaks on Senior Lifesyles and fitness

MS. Senior Georgia talks about the value of being over 60 and who values age.

Well I have to say, it has been an interesting weekend!! I went to an Advocare Champions training on Saturday and really was totally inspired by the people who care about our health. This company really wants you and me to be as healthy as possible. I aslo realized that I am worthy to have health AND money!! I dont have to succumb to the aches and pains of getting older and I can live abundantly. God would have it that way!! I dusted off my copy of Bill Phillips book Fit for Life, and decided to add his excercises to my routine. I feel fantastic! Other thoughts that came to mind as I also enjoyed the weather and relished a cool fall day, who does care?  Lawrenceville Patch cares. They let me write about Seniors. Our Loved ones care. THey have too!!LOL. When I won the title of MS. Senior Ga. People cared for a day or two and some still do, but time passes and people go on their own way. Another newspaper who will remain nameless, wouldnt even put in their paper that there IS a MS. Senior Ga pageant, much less who won it and the dynamic women all over the age of 60 who make a difference all over the state of Georgia.  There are all types of discrimination. Age is one of them. We do not see the beauty in a few wrinkles. We earned those wrinkles and we need to stand up and fight for an abundant life. As we treat others, so will we be treated. Always be kind, non judgmental, loving each and every person we meet whether young or old.  I put my clock on a different wall yesterday. Now I have to look in a different direction to see what I need to see!! Get healthy, love your life, love your fellow man and love God with all your heart. It will all be OK!!!! Mary
