Take Teddy Home

This Dachshund puppy is up for adoption in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Isn't Teddy adorable? He was born in rescue on April 28, after his momma (a 14 pound black wirehaired Dachshund) was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Cartersville. After being nursed and well taught by his momma, Teddy is ready to meet the world. His foster family reports that he is sweet, affectionate and well socialized, if a little shy. We feel confident he will be a small dog when he's full grown. Teddy is doing fine with the other foster dogs in his current home, but he is a bit intimidated by the small children. For this reason, we will only place him in a home with kids over the age of ten. Teddy is looking for a home where his person or family has the time, patience and energy that all puppies need to help him grow up to be a great dog. If you would like to meet him, please let us know!

Teddy is fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and dewormin g. The adoption fee is $150 (cash only, please).

You can apply to adopt by submitting an application via our website at http://www.sohfga.com/, or by selecting the e-mail inquiry option on this page. We hold adoptions at Petco in Snellville from 12-4 every Saturday and Sunday. Not every pet is present on every adoption day, so if you want to meet this one, be sure and contact us.
