About SEGO

The Walk for the Women We Love benefits the SEGO-We Care Foundation and Walk of Women, both of which are 501c3, not-for-profit organizations.  Each was established to assist women diagnosed with gynecologic cancers and spread awareness of gynecological cancers through their community-building and fundraising events.

The SEGO-We Care Foundation provides support programs addressing all aspects of the gynecologic cancer patient including empowering women and their caregivers with knowledge and psychosocial support on the journey through and beyond treatment for gynecologic cancer.

WOW was developed to raise awareness of gynecological cancers; such as ovarian, cervical, and uterine and to support women affected by these cancers with programs like Wellness of Women.

Both organizations are funded entirely through fundraisers such as the Lawrenceville Walk for the Women We Love and private donations.
