The Scarecrows are Coming to Mountain View

The Scarecrows are coming to Mountain View.

 Enter your Scarecrow and get some advertising for your business. Entrance fee is $15. 

How will this work? You create a scarecrow and we’ll make sure that there is a map of all locations where scarecrows are on display for voting. Patrons will be encouraged to visit and support your business, club or other activity to vote on the best scarecrow from all over the surrounding area.

 Deadline to receive registration forms is September 19th.

 Voting will run from October 1‐17th and you will bring your scarecrow to our FALL FESTIVAL at Mountain View HS on October 19th. At the Fall Festival, each of the entered Scarecrows will be displayed and then auctioned off. Scarecrows should be delivered to MVHS by 9am on Saturday, October 19th – or Thursday, October 17th in the MVHS Band Room from 3‐ 6pm. The winning scarecrows (1st, 2nd & 3rd Place) will be presented a trophy and also receive recognition on our band website and school electronic communication and at a home football game.

 ½ of the proceeds from the auction will go to support the Mountain View Special Education Department at Mountain View HS.

½ of the proceeds will benefit the Mountain View HS Band Program.

Either way, your money will go to a worthy cause!

 Be sure your scarecrow is self‐sustaining (can support itself) and be creative – let it represent your business, activity or some other festive scene
 
 Please attach a 3x5 card with your scarecrow name and business information when delivered to MVHS.
