SIMON KIDGITS CLUB BOOK BLAST EVENT AT SUGARLOAF MILLS

Simon
Malls® are welcoming families to experience the magic of reading at the mall
during the annual Simon Kidgits Club® Book Blast at Sugarloaf Mills on Saturday,
March 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Food Court.  This free event will allow parents and
children to bring books to life through special read-aloud sessions, giveaways
and story-inspired activities.

Simon
Kidgits Club’s Book Blast will provide families the chance to make reading a
fun, social experience with various kid-focused offerings. Chopper from the
Gwinnett Braves and Miss Teen Gwinnett Katelon Kerns will take turns reading a
selection of popular children’s novels aloud, including There's No Place Like Space by Tish Rabe, When Dinosaurs Came with Everything by Elise Broach and The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. To
coincide with these books, Kidgits Club members will also enjoy Dino's in Dirt
Pudding Parfait while decorating a library tote and creating an "I Love
Reading" hat and a rainbow fish.

Additionally,
Simon is teaming up with Better World Books to provide
each child that attends the event a pre-loved book and bookmark to take home.  Simon and Better World Books are also
supporting literacy through a Drop Box book collection program. Families can
participate in the program by donating books at Sugarloaf Mills’ Drop Box,
located in the parking lot near Forever 21.
