Public Safety Fall Festival

Field will be the site of Gwinnett County's 2013 Public Safety Fall Festival,


which will be held on Sept. 28. from 10am-2pm. We are looking forward to record

breaking (over 10,000) attendance – so spread the word!

Join Safe Kids Gwinnett, Gwinnett County Fire and Gwinnett Police as they host a  FREE FUN FAMILY event! There are going to be over 50 police, fire, and other safety apparatus, 2

helicopters, motorcycle demos, a car show, a car seat check, pet adoptions,

bounce houses and rock climbing wall, 100 tables inside of community partners –

and the Safe Kids Gwinnett– Kids Safety Zone. 




We have games and hands on activities and this year – besides

the amazing Maxwell School of Cosmetology students famous Crazy Hair – there

will be Glenda’s Glitter tattoos and a cool photo booth. We have many wonderful


community partners working with in the Safe Kids Gwinnett Area – including


Elesys, CHOA Sports Medicine Programs, Eastside Medical Center, Home Depot,  Medicaid Outreach, Macaroni Kids, Amerigroup, and some of Gwinnett’s best


students from Berkmar High School and Peachtree Ridge High School. There will be games, activities, and prizes as we learn to Play Safe.  All activities are free.

This year’s theme is

Wizard of Oz – There is No Place like a Safe Home. So feel free to dress in

your best Munchkin outfit or Ruby slippers! There is a costume contest at noon in the kids zone -so invite your young friends to dress up and come for the fun and prizes.
