Humble Heroes Fundraiser in Memory of Lt. William Morgan

There is a collective sense of heartbreak when a community loses a public safety official.  Humble Heroes, a non-profit organization committed to supporting the men and women who keep our communities safe, is teaming up with Fox's Pizza Den to honor fallen Deputy Lt. William Morgan.  Morgan, who served the Clarke County Sheriff's Office for 23 years, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8.  He is survived by his wife, Stacy Ann Hogue Morgan, and 16-year-old son, Justin Michael Morgan.  To remember Morgan and support his family, Fox's Pizza Den is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 12:00 p.m. - 9 p.m.  A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the UGA lacrosse team, which relies heavily on fundraising and donations.  Fox's Pizza Den will also feature a 30-inch pizza eating contest for competition-hungry guests.
