The focus of Greater Gwinnett Rose Society's November meeting will be "Gardening to Attract Hummingbirds” with Professor Paul Thomas, PhD, University of Georgia College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences.
Dr. Thomas’ research at UGA is focused on commercial bedding plant and perennial production. He plans and implements regional and state programs involving the greenhouse industry, serves as State Extension Specialist in Floriculture, and has been an educational advisor to the Georgia Flower Growers Association.
The GGRS is open to anyone who enjoys roses and wants to learn more about them. Meetings are open to everyone at no cost. GGRS has Master and Consulting Rosarians who are available to consult about your roses. We meet at 7 pm on the first Tuesday of most months.
