U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, will be the featured speaker.

According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, veterans make up 23 percent of the entire U.S. homeless population. While there are more than 60,000 veterans in the metro Atlanta area, there is currently no coordinated effort to provide housing and services to veterans who are homeless or at risk of losing their home.
