You'll Love Lucy

This Bichon Frise/Poodle Mix is up for adoption in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Lucy is a lovely Bichon-Poo (Bichon Frise/Poodle), just under one year of age.  She is the size of a Miniature Poodle (at about 15lbs) with curly white hair and pink skin. She has beautiful light brown eyes. Lucy is a docile, sweet little girl who loves to run and play. When we say play, we mean play! At her current puppy-stage, she is not a quiet little lap-dog but wants to wrestle with any other dog that is willing to jump into the fray. Having another dog in the house would be ideal, so long as they can keep up with her.

She came into rescue as a stray, covered in fleas and filthy dirty. She is, however, a beauty now. Lucy needs a home where someone is around for the majority of the day because she is not happy being crated while others are working outside the home. She is inclined to whine and bark if left crated too long. She is a bout 80% housebroken but still has occasional accidents and she is crate-trained as well. She needs a consistent schedule and frequent potty-breaks to learn the drill completely. She walks nicely on leash and rides quietly in the car. She is a real lovebug and will make a wonderful companion for an active household. She gets along perfectly with other dogs and cats, having a happy nature, but don't forget that she plays hard. If you think your home is the one that's right for Lucy, please email for more info, or fill out our online application. Thanks!!

Lucy is fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $200 (cash only, please).

You can apply to adopt by submitting an application via our website at http://www.sohfga.com/. We hold adoptions at Petco in Snellville from 12-4 every Saturday and Sunday. Not every pet is present on every adoption day, so if you want to meet this one, be sure and contact us!
