Restaurant Inspections: Local Restaurant Improves Score from 67 to 96

Two local restaurants with new health inspections, both score in 90's.

Violation of Code: [.04(4)(q) ] 1. Container of sushi rice was left uncovered in between uses, in front prep area which is right next to area where customers walk to use the restroom  2. Employee put the lid back on the sushi rice so that is was no longer exposed to any source of contamination.
3. Food must be shielded properly during storage from sources of contamination. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [.04(4)(m) ] 1. Wet wiping cloths left out on prep table and counters. 2. Employee placed wiping cloths were placed in the sanitizer bucket, containing 100 ppm chlorine, during inspection. 3. In-use, wet wiping cloths must be stored in an approved sanitizing solution (100 ppm available chlorine or 300 ppm available Quat). Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [.10(2)(g) ] 1. The most current inspection report dates 10/1/12, with a score of 67 (U) was not posted in public view as required; the report was folded up behind the counter.
2. CFSM posted the latest inspection report from today's reinspection in public view. 3. The most current inspection report must be posted in public view as required.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
