Kroger Recalls King Cake

The cinnamon flavored cake has been recalled in four states, including Georgia, due to nuts which may not be listed in the ingredients.

Kroger grocery stores have issued a recall of a bakery item in the middle of the carnival season. They are recalling their Bakery Mardi Gras King Cake Cinnamon because it may contain pecans not listed on the label.

The cake was sold in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and eastern Tennessee. It has a sell by date of February 7, 2013 and the UPC code 4157327767.

If you purchased the cake between December 30, 2012 and February 4, 2013, you can take it back to your local Kroger for a full refund or replacement.
