Our site is one year old today! Let's take a look back at some of the stories we've covered.

It’s been one year since Lawrenceville Patch launched, and what a year it has been! Our website went live at 8:21am on December 28, 2010. Here’s a look back at some of our top videos from the last 12 months.

In January, as Lawrenceville’s new mayor. Johnson beat out incumbent Rex Millsaps to become the city’s first female mayor, and follow in her father Rhodes Jordan’s footsteps.

February began with tragedy with the , but ended with , officers, and one resident’s homeland.

Gwinnett County also saw a new beginning with the as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners in March.

Lawrenceville city residents went to the polls, not once, but twice this fall. In November, voters passed , allowing stores in the city limit to sell beer and wine seven days a week.

back onto the city council, taking over for Katie Hart Smith who chose not to run again. But one race was too close to call. Incumbent PK Martin faced off against former mayor Rex Millsaps . , retaining his seat.

Gwinnett County at a ceremony this Veterans’ Day. No new names were added to the memorial this year.
