Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department Hosts Public Input Meetings

Four public input meetings scheduled during the month of October.

The Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department will host a series of public input meetings during the month of October. Members of the Gwinnett community are encouraged to attend one or more of these meetings where they will have the opportunity to provide input for the 2013 Capital Improvement Plan Update.

The 2013 Capital Improvement Plan Update is set to build on the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement Plan from 2007. Residents with concerns or interests in the provision and maintenance of new park facilities in Gwinnett will have the opportunity to provide input about their personal recreational desires at these meetings.

This series of public input meetings will be held throughout the County during the month of October. The findings from these public meetings will be presented to the Citizen Steering Committee and used in setting the goals and objectives for the 2013 Capital Improvement Plan Update.
