Extreme Delays at SR 20 and Hurricane Shoals Road

Delays could continue through the late afternoon on Oct. 5, 2012.

The Georgia DOT is advising that motorists avoid the area of SR 20 and Hurricane Shoals Road if at all possible due to a crash investigation and non-functioning traffic signal.

According to a press release from the GDOT the traffic signal at the intersection was damaged in the crash. The City of Lawrenceville Police are currently investigating the accident and directing traffic on the roadway.

Delays are expected to continue through the late afternoon, until the signal is repaired.
