Central Gwinnett's Riley Named Falcons' 'Captain in the Community'

The Black Knights' football player received the weekly honor from the Atlanta Falcons.

Falcons 'Rise Up,' and so does Central Gwinnett High School's Adam Riley.

The senior wide receiver for the Black Knights was selected as the Atlanta Falcons' 'Captain in the Community' for the week of October 14.

Each week during the NFL season, the Falcons recognize an outstanding Georgia high school football student-athlete. The winners demonstrate strong leadership both on the field and in the community.

"A good leader, to me, first must be a good follower but not one who follows everybody, instead they follow someone who is wise and gives wise counseling and insight," said Riley to the Falcons.

"It never hurts to give out the goodness of your heart. You never know, you might end up providing for someone who desperately needs it," Riley adds.

Central Gwinnett will receive a $1,000 grant from the Atlanta Falcons and the NFL Foundation to support community initiatives.
