Budget Supervisor

Gwinnett County is hiring for a full-time Budget Supervisor.

Essential Duties:

Supervises centralized budget staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.

Supervises the operational aspects of centralized budget, to include operating and capital funds.

Analyzes and administers complex budgetary information and data; makes recommendations based on findings.

Prepares and reviews a variety of complex reports.

Provides responsible and complex staff assistance to the Budget Manager.

Supervises the maintenance of official records, files, and related documentation.

Coordinates assigned services and activities with other divisions and departments, and outside agencies and organizations.

Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned services and activities; identifies resource needs; participates in meetings.

Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
