Baxter Needs a Good Home

This Bichon Frise/Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix is up for adoption in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Mister Baxter is a precious boy, one of eleven pups born in rescue on January 9th, 2013. Baxter's Momma, Diamond, is a lovely Yellow Lab mix, about 60 lbs, and Dad is a 20 lb purebred Bichon Frise. We are guessing that Baxter's full grown size will be somewhere in between the two. What an interesting and beautiful mix!  Baxter is a fuzzy, somewhat wirey-coated boy, but his fur is very soft. He is probably not hypoallergenic, despite being part Bichon. Baxter is very likely to shed, and will require regular grooming to keep his coat in good condition. This little fella is sweet and playful, and loves romping with the other dogs in his foster home. He is looking for a home where his person or family has the time, patience and energy that all pups need to help them grow up to be great dogs.  If you would like to add this little darling to your family, please fill out our online application. Thanks!

Baxter is fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $200 (cash only, please).

You can apply to adopt by submitting an application via our website at http://www.sohfga.com/, or by selecting the e-mail inquiry option on this page. We hold adoptions at Petco in Snellville from 12-4 every Saturday and Sunday. Not every pet is present on every adoption day, so if you want to meet this one, be sure and contact us!
