Trooper is a nine-month old Black Lab pup who would like to meet his forever family. This good looking boy was found wandering by a kind couple who took him in and fed him and brought him to us to find him a loving home. Trooper's coat is a beautiful shiny jet black, and he is about 60 pounds now, with a bit more growing to do. He is a big boy who is smart and wants to please. He has already learned to sit and stay, and is eager to learn more. Full of fun, Trooper is just a big goofy boy who likes everybody! He gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home. He is crate trained, and should be easy to housetrain. Because of his size and puppy clumsiness (all sweet), he will not be placed in a home with small children. He is looking for a home where his person or family has the time, patience and energy that all young dogs need to help him become a great dog. Prior to adoption, Trooper will be fully vetted --neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $150 (cash only, please).
