The Singin' Bean Celebrates Its Eighth Anniversary

Friends and fans sing the praises of this karaoke cafe.

Congratulations are in order for Cindy Pitts Gilbert, owner of for reaching the eighth year of operation. Located in the Heart of Historic Lawrenceville on the Corner of Pike and Perry of the Historic Square, the Bean’s success story is rooted in providing three minutes of fame for anyone who wants to entertain an audience by singing their favorites songs.

The unique selling point of this Karaoke Coffeehouse is that they serve no alcohol and you’re not allowed to light up your smokes. It’s a safe, fun and entertainment place that is family friendly. Combine this with delicious desserts, great coffee and soft drinks, smiling faces and you have a winning combination.Β Β

It’s not just a place to hang out with your computer and complimentary Wi-Fi. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in five different musical rooms. Regulars tend to gravitate to the β€˜50s room with photos and a large free-standing cut out of Elvis. It’s right next to the Victorian Tea Room and they both overlook the City of Lawrenceville. Book your private tea party or network there with your business buddies or plan a birthday party.
