An "Abundant Amount" of Dead Roaches: Restaurant Inspections Dec. 19

Also, two Lawrenceville, Ga. restaurants are at risk of having their permit suspended after repeat violations of the same codes.

Person in charge indicated that he only uses that sink for thawing and does not want employees using hot water. Advised PIC that all sinks must be supplied with hot and cold water. Dish sink is designated for warewashing but can be used for thawing in one compartment. New Violation.17D, Violation of Code: [.07(5)(d) ] Filters observed dripping oil on table used for food prep and onto floor. Person in charge stated that they had been cleaned 2 weeks before. Ventilation systems must be cleaned at a frequency to prevent contamination. New Violation. 18, Violation of Code: [.07(5)(l) ] Observed abundant amounts of dead roaches on dry storage shelving, under grill and inside storage units.
