Little Caesar's Pizza Scores a 91: Restaurant Inspections July 31

The pizza place had a routine violation. If it's marked out of compliance on the next inspection, their permit may be suspended.

Violations: 2-2B, Violation of Code: [.03(5)(j)1&2 ] Two employees drinking in the kitchen out of unapproved containers. Employee observed eating pizza while working. Informed the certified food safety manager that if employees are going to drink in the kitchen, they must do so out of approved containers. Otherwise, they must step outside of the kitchen to drink. Informed the CFSM that employees are not to eat in the kitchen. Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. However, drinking from a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, unwrapped single-service and single-use articles will be allowed. IF THIS ITEM IS MARKED OUT OF COMPLIANCE ON THE NXT ROUTINE INSPECTION, THEN THE PERMIT MAY BE SUSPENDED. Corrected On-Site. Repeat Violation. 2-2D, Violation of Code: [.07(3)(b) ] No paper towels in the customer restroom. Paper towels supplied. Hand washing sinks must be supplied with paper towels. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 10D, Violation of Code: [.04(4)(d) ] Two containers of bulk food not labeled. Had manager label product at time of inspection. Bulk foods must be labeled. Corrected On-Site.
