The data collected measures how well a hospital's caregivers abide by Appropriate Care Measures. This measure determines if a patient who suffered a heart attack, heart failure or pneumonia received the appropriate care at the right time.

“It is our mission to ensure that each of our patients receives the right care at the right time and this recognition validates this,” said Phil Wolfe, president and CEO of GMC said in a release. “This honor is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our staff who are constantly striving to make excellent care even better.”
