Taboo Tea: A Women's Health Forum

The Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter (GCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host the 6th annual Taboo Tea: A Woman’s Health Forum on Sunday, November 13th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The event will be held at George Pierce Park located at 55 Buford Hwy NW, Suwanee, GA.

 

The Taboo Tea: A Woman’s Health Forum, will consist of a diverse group of healthcare professionals to ask those ‘forbidden’ questions as well as provide informative insights and best practices.  The forum will have a panel discussion followed by an anonymous question and answer session.  This event is open to all women in the community.  Light refreshments will be served.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded on January 13, 1913 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The public service sorority promotes academic excellence and provides assistance to persons in need.  Chartered in March 2003, the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter (GCAC) empowers Gwinnett County citizens with a comprehensive approach to community involvement and social development through Delta Sigma Theta’s Five Point Program Thrust. Dr. Shenila Hill Rodriguez currently serves as President of GCAC.
