One Dead, Police Searching for Murder Suspect
One woman was killed and another injured. Gwinnett County Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
One woman is dead and another in the hospital after a shooting at a home in unincorporated Lawrenceville Sunday evening. And the suspected murderer is on the loose.
Gwinnett County Police responded to a call of a person shot at about 5p.m. Sunday. Officers found the body of a woman in the garage when they arrived at the home at 2119 Crystal Lake Drive. A second woman was injured and taken to the hospital.
Police have identified a suspect and are on the lookout for him. They have issued a warrant for 40-year-old Ohave Whitfield. He is described as a black male, 5’8” and weighs about 165 pounds. Whitfield is wanted for felony murder. He was last seen driving a teal or green Volvo S80 with Georgia tags PRI4493
